Following breaking works on a 70 year old bridge over Transport for London's Central line at White City for our client Imperial College London, the final phase of this delicate operation was the removal of the steel beams.

Our project as Principal Contractor for our client Imperial College London at their White City Campus required the demolition of a bridge over Transport for London's Central line, where record drawings show the bridge had been in situ for over 70 years.

The first students to take part in the pilot Careys Construction Campus at Oxford North, the free three-week training course for people aged 17 years and over, have graduated with flying colours.

Our team have recently completed the construction of a new roundabout at the junction of Studios Road, New Road and Squires Bridge Road in Shepperton.

Our project at 105 Victoria Street features in the March edition of Concrete by The Concrete Society, where this month's theme is on low carbon construction.

Oxford North, the new £700 million innovation district in Oxford, is to welcome Careys Construction Campus to provide free, flexible on-site ground working construction training which will guarantee an offer of an interview on completion of the training and boost jobs and talent in the industry.

Careys has equipped its workforce with bleed kits from emergency bandages charity, RAPAID, to help improve health and safety on site.

Careys recently completed the final installation of eight huge steel beams over the Central line at White City.

Our project at Imperial College London saw the continuation of the basement raft slab construction. The basement, which is nine metres deep and measures 35 metres by 35 metres (1225m2), is the first section of basement that will eventually form the link between various future developments.
