Yesterday, our Plant & Fleet division held its fourth annual Supply Chain Partners event at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.
An overview of our history, capabilities and strategy
The event has become a key fixture in Plant & Fleets calendar as it provides an opportunity for us to welcome our supply chain and show the importance and value we place on our valued partners, all of who play a significant contribution in the successful operation of our plant & fleet division. This year we welcomed over 50 supply chain partners to the event.
During the presentation, Gary Condon, Managing Director Careys Plant & Fleet, took a nostalgic look back at the Carey Group as we celebrate our 50th anniversary in particular how plant & fleet has evolved over this period and how the use of technology has revolutionised tasks such as site surveys. The presentation then went on to outline the wider capabilities of the Group, our strategy, vision and purpose, processes and roles of the Plant & Fleet team.
Leading Edge - 7 Habits Signature Programme
The event also welcomed guest speaker, Simon Wergan (Head of People Development at Careys) who introduced the philosophy and objectives of our Leading Edge - 7 Habits Signature Programme. The 12-month course supports our leadership teams throughout every level of the business – Senior Leaders, Complex Role Leaders, Department Leaders, Team Leaders and Individual Contributors – to reach their maximum potential to support, mentor and lead our teams – fulfilling our long-term strategy at Careys.
The presentations were followed by an exclusive tour of the stadium and a networking reception.
