Careys are extremely proud to be named as the UKs number one specialist concrete contractor in the 2021 Construction News Specialists Index, for the sixth consecutive year.

The Specialists Index evaluates the financial performance of the UKs specialist contractors across seven sectors which include: Concrete, demolition, envelope, ground engineering, M&E, scaffolding and steel, and how we as businesses are already dealing with major new challenges within our industry.
Projects that have helped us achieve status as the UKs number one specialist concrete contractor over the past 12 months include:
Audley Square Redevelopment - We are proud to have been awarded a Design and Build Contract and subsequently appointed as Principal Contractor for the groundworks and RC frame for client, Caudwell.

St Giles Circus – We were awarded works for four superstructure buildings which comprises of an urban gallery, commercial spaces, residential and a hotel, as well as a four-storey basement which will be a new events venue.

Atlantic Square – Our team delivered a package of enabling, infrastructure, substructure and superstructure works – one rises to 10 storeys and the other to seven storeys, at Atlantic Square in the centre of Glasgow.

Heartlands Hospital - We successfully secured another Reinforced Concrete Frame project in the city of Birmingham. The concrete frame building will cover a 16,000m² footprint, with each floor being around 3,600m² – approximately half the size of the pitch at Wembley Stadium - with 4,000m3 of concrete and 11,000 tonnes of reinforcement.
Manchester New Square – Our team delivered groundworks and superstructure works to create a landmark new residential project in the heart of Manchester.

Moda Springside – We were awarded a package of works at Springside in Edinburgh to deliver a seven-storey post tension frame with a single basement level car park and the hard landscaping.
